House of Light 'n Sound

Jessie Starr, a Singer Songwriter and Guitarist, author, artist and poet, healer and teacher, passionate about making spaces for people to express their gifts and talents. Dave Long is a 3-D engineering wizard, Artist, creator, musician, cinematographer and so much more!

Jessie, having lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last 20+ years, and the daughter of a musician and artisan, has cultivated a life rich with Musicians, artists, makers and expressers of authenticity of all sorts. Coupled with Dave's rich background in Hollywood, we are excited to be working together to cultivate a truly unique environment for all of us to bathe in LIght, Sound and Creator Energies.

Dave Long is an animator and designer who makes puppet and prop mechanisms in Portland, OR, with the help of a small team of robots.

He has animated work for Patton Oswalt, Tori Amos, Eric Idle, Dana Carvey, Joel Hodgson, Ray Harryhausen, and many more. He built puppets for Netflix’s Mystery Science Theater 3000 and designed animatronics for Netflix’s The Dark Crystal. Dave recently made magic props for The Flamingo Vegas’ Piff the Magic Dragon, designed and printed a large 3D Subaru Outback puzzle for Subaru and the Arizona Science Center, and invented a fun way to shoot paint on glass.

The Melting Pot for all this magic is the Yoga Studio/Art Gallery in EARTH Space PDX; it provides a beautiful, intimate, and energetically held container for our Journies.

EARTH Space PDX is devoted to building community connections with one another, as well as with self, by offering classes, events and more designed to support you in healing, loving and holding the Mind/Body/Spirit Complex.
